It’s important to learn more about your travel rights so you’ll be well equipped when you travel. So what happens when your flight has been rescheduled and you’re already at the airport? What’s the time frame for an airline to inform passengers if there’s a reschedule of flight?

If there is a planned flight reschedule of three hours or more, before or after the scheduled time of departure, airlines must inform consumers between 12 to 48 hours from the scheduled time of departure.

Airlines need to display these following T&C’s before you purchase a ticket:

1. Cancellation fees
2. Refunds and rebooking policies
3. Baggage allowance policies
4. No-show policies (consumer not showing up at the airport for a booked flight)
5. Validity of a passenger’s travel documents
