Tropical storm Pabuk is forecast to make landfall on Friday evening 4th January 2019, bringing widespread rainfall and torrential downpours in the southern region of Thailand. High waves and gusty winds have caused the suspension of ferry services to and from the island as well. There is a warning of heavy rainfall and strong winds in several provinces, including islands such as Phuket and Krabi.
To date, Bangkok Airways cancelled all flights to and from Samui Airport due to safety reasons. If you are affected by the cancellation, you may contact Bangkok airways at 03- 21480829. If you are planning to travel to the southern region of Thailand, there’s possibility that your flight might be affected.
